Reflection
I think that my car is sculpted well.  I like the shape, I think it looks futuristic.  I like the pointed front and the curves at the back.  I think the texture paint adds detail, especially the bottom. I like the windows and lights too.  I don't think there is enough detail in the car.  I would have liked to spend more time painting the car.  I would add more detail to make it look more realistic.  I think a different colour might make it look better also.  I don't like the way the picture makes it look.  I think this would make a great invention for the future.  It is battery powered, therefore good for the environment.  It has a futuristic design and is practical.  It is a hover car, so is much safer than a regular car.

1. Give reasons for why you think Da Vinci invented the inventions on the reverse of this sheet.

I think Da Vinci invented these inventions because he had many great ideas of how he could use his ideas to make a great change in the world.  His ideas were way ahead of his time, which could have stopped him because so many people could have thought that his inventions were impossible.  His inventions are very practical, and even though he never saw them work, they were invented many years later.

2. Choose one of Da Vinci’s inventions, and explain why you think it has had the biggest   impact on modern society.

I think Da Vinci’s invention of the parachute has had the biggest impact on modern society.  He suggested the design in 1435, and his design hasn’t changed much from what the design of a parachute is today.  Even without testing a design, Da Vinci was able to suggest what shape and size that a parachute needed to be for a person to fall safely to the ground.  I think that at his time the invention might have seemed impossible. But, today the invention is very practical. 

Make up a list of 3 inventions that would enrich our lives.

1) transporter - transports anything anywhere around the world

2) jet shoes - travel as fast as a car

3) hover car - float down the road
